Messaging terms
Last updated 19 August 2026
These cover the text messages you get after booking with a business that uses Victorium Systems. They are written for you, the person booking — not for the business.
Draft, pending legal review. This document has not yet been reviewed by a lawyer and must not be relied on as it stands.
Who is texting you
The business you booked with. Victorium Systems is the software they use to send it, so the messages come from a number we provide, but the appointment, the prices and the shop are theirs. Every message says which business it is from.
What you will get
If you tick the box when you book, there are four kinds:
- A confirmation, straight after you book.
- A reminder before your appointment.
- A reply when you text the number — often written by the business’s automated assistant rather than by a person.
- If the business has it switched on, one message a few hours after your visit asking whether you would leave a review.
Nothing else. These are recurring messages and how often they arrive depends on how often you book. If a business ever wants to send you offers, it has to ask you separately — agreeing to the messages above is not agreeing to marketing.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge you anything for text messages. Your mobile carrier may, depending on your plan.
How to stop
Reply STOP to any message and you will stop receiving them. That takes effect immediately and you do not need to explain. You can still book, and you can still manage or cancel an appointment through the link in an earlier message.
Reply START if you change your mind. That restores confirmations and reminders only.
Getting help
Reply HELP to any message and you will get the business’s name and how to reach them directly. For anything about the appointment itself — running late, a question about a service — the business is who you want. For a problem with the messages themselves, contact us at hello@victoriumsystems.com.
When we will not text you
Reminders are held outside the hours the business sets as quiet, in the business’s local time, and are skipped rather than delayed if the appointment is sooner than the window ends. A booking confirmation is sent immediately whatever the hour, because somebody who has just booked at 11pm is waiting for it.
Carriers
Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Delivery is not guaranteed, so please do not rely on a text as the only record of an appointment — every message includes a link to the booking itself.
Your consent stays with the business you gave it to
Agreeing to hear from one business does not agree you to hear from any other, including another business using the same software. If a business moves to a different platform, it has to ask you again there.
